libemboss-acd-perl software package provides perl module to parse EMBOSS ACD files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libemboss-acd-perl
libemboss-acd-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libemboss-acd-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libemboss-acd-perl *
You will get with libemboss-acd-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
